Lyrical Journey: Toko Shinoda, Hood Museum of Art, April 3—August 29, 2021

As part of A Legacy of Learning, this exhibition (and corresponding publication) celebrated the late and acclaimed artist Toko Shinoda (1931-2021) who is best known for her poetic gestural paintings and prints coalescing Japanese calligraphic traditions and modernist abstraction.
